From the bottom of my heart, Congratulations! You have completed all five Victories. This is a monumental achievement which will have eternal consequences.
If you have not completed all five victories, which will take at least 9 months, please do not read any further. You can see the Rule in the Daily Life page, but it is better to learn its intricacies after you have completed the Victories. Otherwise, it will overwhelm you.
The Rule is the standard life of prayer for the Little Marian Way. It unifies the Church’s most powerful prayers in a manner that constantly turns you towards God throughout the day.

Approach
The Rule does seem daunting, but do not give up thinking this is beyond you. You just need to work up to this life over time.
- Complete only the “Upon Waking” prayers for a month
- Then say the Three Hail Mary Consecration prayer in the middle of the day and before sleeping for a month
- When ready, complete the “Upon Waking” and “Midday” prayers for a month.
- When ready, complete the “Upon Waking”, “Midday”, and “Before Sleep” prayers for a month.
Again, it will seem daunting, so just take it one section at a time and always always ask Dear Mom for grace and help. Your main goal is to develop the habit of praying three times a day.
As you continue to set aside this time to pray, you will naturally begin completing the full routine.
Do not beat yourself up if you miss a few days or stumble along the way. Our Dear Mom will help you.
Let us review each prayer and practice.
Explanation
Morning Offering
The Morning Offering of the Brown Scapular is in itself a consecration prayer to God through Dear Mom for those who are enrolled in the Confraternity of the Brown Scapular.
Three Hail Mary Consecration
The Three Hail Mary Consecration is a consecration prayer to Dear Mom combined with the Three Hail Mary Devotion that promises Dear Mom’s assistance at our death.
Talking to God
Three times a day, we personally talk to God. We must see God as a loving Father who wants to help us in our lives. This only happens if we talk to Him during the day. When we do this constantly, we realize we are not alone, that the Creator of Heaven and Earth is listening to us.
Gospel Reading
We read the Gospels daily because by doing so, we hear God speaking to us and learn more about Christ our Savior.
Spiritual Reading
We read a spiritual book (such as the Old Testament, the Wisdom Literature of the Bible, writings by the Saints or papal letters) to learn more about our faith and grow in holiness.
Examination of Conscience
We conduct an Examination of Conscience every night to identify our sins and imperfections that we need to root out. Remember, if there is any evil we are attached to at death, we are either damned or confined to purgatory until that attachment is dissolved. It is better to dissolve the attachment in this life and the Examination of Conscience will help with that.
Act of Contrition
We recite the Act of Contrition to confirm with God our sincere desire to be forgiven and to be made holy.
Act of Love
We recite the Act of Love to confirm with God our love for Him and our desire to live our lives in a way that demonstrates that love.
Chaplet of the Divine Mercy
Our Lord delivered this devotion to St. Faustina in the 1930s. This prayer calls on God to have mercy on us and the whole world out of love for His Son who gave up His life to save us.
We recite this because, by this prayer, we remember and stand by the Cross of Christ just as our Dear Mom did.
Our Lord promised that for those who recite the chaplet daily, His mercy would be upon them at their hour of death.
Chaplet of St. Michael the Archangel
St. Michael the Archangel delivered this devotion to Servant of God, Antonia d’Astonac in the 19th century. This chaplet calls upon St. Michael and all the angels to pray for our growth in holiness and to help us on our journey.
We recite this devotion because, among all the angels, St. Michael is the most zealous in honoring God and Our Dear Mom and this chaplet honors this most zealous servant.b2
St. Michael has promised that for those who recite the chaplet daily, they and their relations will be delivered from purgatory.
Now that you are oriented to the Rule, refer to the Daily Life page to practice it. May we meet in Heaven.
